The experience
The interface starts with a conversation.
On first boot, VOIS OS introduces itself, asks what you want to call it, and guides setup through natural conversation. The home screen is not a grid of icons — it is your AI.

Say “Open Telegram” or “Write an email to Alex.” VOIS OS handles the device-level steps instead of making you hunt through menus.

Product principles
Useful without becoming invasive.
The system is designed around explicit user intent, understandable permissions, and a hard separation between assistance and high-risk authority.
Offline should still feel like a computer.
Any device action that can normally work without internet should remain available to the AI layer: opening apps, changing settings, writing local notes, launching tools and navigating the device.
✓Local device actions remain available offline.
✓Network-dependent apps can still open and explain that connectivity is missing.
Permission is a product feature.
Users can approve access once, for a session, or persistently. But some boundaries are not user-overridable by design.
✓No root access for the AI layer.
✓No autonomous banking or money transfers.
✓The AI can open a banking app, but the user completes the transaction.

Building the first real prototype.
